Hi, I’m Fran! I was born in 1976 in Columbus, Ohio, and spent my formative years growing up in the Metro Detroit area.  I graduated from high school in 1994 and went on to attend Michigan State University, where I worked 50 hours a week  as a Domino’s driver and Mexican restaurant employee to pay for it. After graduating, I taught public school in and around Detroit and its suburbs for nearly 5 years, earning my Master’s Degree online in the process.  I met my wonderful wife Denyse in 2004 via some great forums (talk about a first taste of social media!) and moved to California where I worked as  a trainer for a company selling time and attendance software to cities, towns and municipalities. Then, I worked as a sysadmin and SEO for GoJobs.com, a small job board.  After that I moved to an SEO agency where I cut my teeth first handling as many as 30 simultaneous accounts, then assumed responsibility for all reporting/communications for over 150 clients.

Nowadays, I work as an SEO Account Manager for national brands.  I read a ton and thought I might try my hand at creating some content, since I’ve consumed so much!  I play lots of PC games in my spare time- currently rocking Battlefield Bad Company 2, Team Fortress 2 and Starcraft 2 while hotly anticipating Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Diablo 3, Battlefield 3, and most of all- The Old Republic Online, the new Star Wars MMO from bioware.  Of course, I don’t have a lot of time for that what with my daughter Olivia to take care of (along with my wonderful wife, Denyse, of course), but I get by. I’m also a foodie and a huge WWE fan.

My blog is about things that interest me personally- digital marketing, gaming, media, pop culture- whatever strikes my fancy.  Check me out and leave a comment, or hit me up on Twitter! I should also disclaim that all of the opinions here are mine (or the guest blogger’s) and as such do not officially represent my employer in any way. Thanks!
